Night Photography Workshop
Have you ever wanted to learn how to photograph the stars or milky way?
Do you think, "my camera probably isn't good enough to take awesome photos of the stars."?
Are you too afraid to venture in the dark by yourself and stray far from your car?
After many requests I've decided to put on a night photography workshop to help you not only take photos of the night sky, but to help make photos of the night sky.
Next workshop date TBD
How much is it? It will cost $150/person. You can purchase your spot via Paypal below.
What equipment do I need? You'll need a DSLR preferably with a wide angle lens and a tripod. The wider the better, but if you have a fast lens (i.e. 35mm f/1.8 or 50mm f/1.8) they'll work too and can actually make for some really good photos. A remote shutter release is also helpful but not absolutely necessary. You'll also want to wear warm clothes since we'll be shooting at night.
What about editing software? You'll most definitely want to have Lightroom and/or Photoshop, or some other software that can handle RAW image files. Adobe has a killer deal for photographers where you get both Lightroom and Photoshop for just $9.99 a month. See details here.
What will I be learning? You'll learn when and where you can see the milky way. You'll learn the camera settings you need to capture stars in almost complete darkness. You may also learn to conquer your fear of the dark.
